Doubles draw: Top seeds Dolehide/Zhang lead field that features Mirza, Sabalenka and former champs

The Credit One Charleston Open doubles draw was made on Sunday, with Caroline Dolehide and Zhang Shuai seeded No.1. Former champions Mirza, Schuurs and Rosolska are set to feature.
There will be a new champion doubles team at the 2022 Credit One Charleston Open.
Defending champion Demi Schuurs of the Netherlands is set to feature, but is with a new partner in Desirae Krawczyk of the U.S. having won a year ago with Nicole Melichar.

2011 and 2015 champion Sania Mirza of India has teamed up with Czech player Lucie Hradecka. 2019 winner Alicja Rosolska is playing alongside Erin Routliffe of New Zealand.
Sixteen teams feature in the draw, with Krawczyk/Schuurs the No.2 seeds anchoring the bottom half of the draw. The No.1 seeds are Caroline Dolehide of the U.S. and Zhang Shuai of China.
Alexa Guarachi of Chile and American Jessica Pegula are seeded No.3 and are on Dolehide/Zhang’s half of the draw, while the No.4 seeds are Andreja Klepac of Slovenia and Magda Linette of Poland are on the bottom half with Krawczyk/Schuurs.
Top singles players Aryna Sabalenka and Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur are a surprise pairing, set to play Guarachi/Pegula in the first round.
