Jankovic Withdraws from Cup, Sending Kovinic into Quarters
Jelena Jankovic, champion here in 2007, withdrew on Thursday from the Volvo Car Open due to a right foot injury.

The withdrawal sends Danka Kovinic into the quarterfinals due to a walkover. Kovinic, 20, will face No. 3 seed and defending champion Andrea Petkovic.
For ticketholders, two doubles match will be featured on Thursday night for the evening session, with Petkovic playing alongside Marina Erakovic against No. 4 seeds Timea Babos and Anna-Lena Groenefeld before American Bethanie Mattek-Sands takes to the court with partner Ajla Tomljanovic against Russians Alla Kudryavtseva and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
Afternoon ticket holders can trade in their tickets for complimentary evening session tickets at the Family Circle Tennis Center box office.
