The Credit One Charleston Open is the Hologic WTA Tour's annual clay court season kickoff event
The Credit One Charleston Open is the largest women’s only professional tennis tournament in North America, welcoming nearly 90,000 tennis fans to the state-of-the-art Credit One Stadium for nine days of tennis excellence every spring.
A WTA 500 event on the Hologic WTA Tour, the tournament features a singles draw of 48 players, a qualifying draw of 24 players and a doubles draw of 16 players.
The 52nd edition of the Credit One Charleston Open will take place March 30 – April 7, 2024 at the renovated and modernized Credit One Stadium on Daniel Island in Charleston, South Carolina. Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur will return to the Lowcountry in 2024 to defend her 2023 title against a host of the game’s top players.
Recognized as the WTA 500 Tournament of the Year for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, the Credit One Charleston Open strives for excellence both on and off the court. The award, which comes from the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and is voted upon by the players, recognizes excellence in staff and organization, passionate fans, and a tournament’s wider dedication to tennis and its athletes.
